Newfoundland Tower London – Final Spurt

Final Spurt

June 2020

Final spurt of the last work on the diagrid facade. Around 50% of the diagrid facade has been fully completed and successfully accepted by the client to date. The construction lift has now been completely dismantled and at the same time the last insertion openings have been closed with the facade elements that are still absent, so that the diagrid structure is now also visible on the narrow side of the building. About half of the facade is currently still covered with protective film. As soon as the last remaining work, the cleaning of the facade and the acceptance and inspection of the next floors have been completed, these will probably be completely removed by the end of the year and the building can then be fully occupied in the spring of 2021 once the interior work has been finished. The views of the Thames and London skyline from the upper floors are already especially spectacular, with views through our installed floor-to-ceiling windows and Juliet sliding doors with waterproofing up to 600 PA.
