Newfoundland Tower London – Topping Out

Topping Out

July 2019

Completion of the building structure up to its full height. Exactly 2 years after the opening of the construction site, we were recently able to celebrate the “Topping Out” ceremony. The reason for this was the completion of the entire building structure and thus the attainment of the full building height of 226 m, including the completion of the roof superstructure.

The building, along with other numerous skyscrapers, now dominates the London skyline and the appearance of the Canary Wharf area, a modern business district in the heart of the Docklands, the former port area of the British capital.

In the meantime, we continued with the installation of the aluminium cladding of the outer struts from the ground floor to level 03, which completes the diagrid structure of the skyscraper all the way down, in front of the window fronts.
